PMOG - Passively Multiplayer Online Game

This Firefox extension adds a game layer to the web: players can create missions (take other players on web tours they create), and interact in a variety of ways. Presumably the company will harness the aggregated browsing behavior of players, as the game provides them with the browsing history of players.

 

Spore

In this new videogame by Will Wright (creator of The Sims) players create creatures and guide their evolution from cellular organism to spacefaring civilization. They can share their creations with other players.
