OK, maybe you're new to the whole wiki process.  Here are the step-by-step instructions for creating a new page in this collaborative environment.  Why create a page?  Maybe you have an example of a contribution system, or some practical how-to advice for your peers, or you have a question to ask our community.  For each of these, you would create a new page in this wiki.

You may want to print this page out by clicking on "printable version" at the lower right of this section of the page:

1. Click on "Create a page" on the upper right below your email address

2. OK, now you have to decide what kind of page you want to create.

If you see "more options", click on it to expand the screen.  You should see something like this:

IF you want to information about a company or organization (including your own) and how it is using UCS:

• Enter the name of the company in "Name your page"
• Choose "catalog of contribution system examples" next to "Put this page in a folder"
• Select "UCS example template" under "Choose a template"
• Press the Create Page button
• Follow the prompts in the edit area on the left to enter content
• Press the Save button on the lower left when you're done

IF you want to enter a question that you'd like the community to answer:

• Enter a brief version of the question in "Name your page"
• Choose "questions and answers on UCS" next to "Put this page in a folder"
• Select "questions and answers template" under "Choose a template"
• Press the Create Page button
• Follow the prompts in the edit area on the left to enter content
• Press the Save button on the lower left when you're done

IF you have "how to" information or advice to share:

• Enter a phrase starting with "How to..." or "Advice on..." in "Name your page"
• Choose "resources" next to "Put this page in a folder"
• Select "How to page template" under "Choose a template"
• Press the Create Page button
• Follow the prompts in the edit area on the left to enter content
• Press the Save button on the lower left when you're done

If you want to create a wiki user profile:

• Enter your name for the name of the page
• Choose "wiki user profile" next to "Put this page in a folder"
• Select "Wiki User (profile page template)" under "Choose a template"
• Press the Create Page button
• Follow the prompts in the edit area on the left to enter content or just enter the information you want to share
• Press the Save button on the lower left when you're done
